Steps to a Sustainable Future

In honor of Earth Day, a note from our Founder and CEO Eliza. 

Part of cultivating a life well-lived is joining together to help protect the place we collectively call home. In honor of Earth Day, here’s a glimpse of how we are contributing to a better tomorrow:

→ We use the best materials available to create high quality, long-term additions to your home that you will enjoy for years to come.

Our ceramic planters are manufactured by a women-owned pottery company focused on limiting their environmental impact – and we recently added upcycled planter options, made from repurposed agricultural byproducts and recycled plastics.

Our new live and dried bouquets and cut stems come from a Rainforest Alliance and Utz Certified family owned-and-operated flower farm. The farm has a dual mission of empowering employees and protecting Amazonian Flora.

→ We are making strides towards removing all plastic from our packaging, which we are transitioning to be fully recyclable. We are constantly looking for and investing in opportunities to remove waste from our supply chain, and have removed single-use items from our distribution centers.

→ We ship the vast majority of our packages via UPS® carbon neutral shipping. This means we (not you) pay a contractual rate per package that ensures we fully offset our shipping footprint and reduce our overall annual emissions as a company.

→ We carry an assortment of products from independent makers and brands that share our aesthetic, values, and vibe.

Operating a business that is sustainable in a meaningful way isn't easy, and we will continue to identify ways we can make a positive impact on this plant.
