Perennials are plants that come back season after season, so long as its planted in the correct growing zone*. Perennials can be planted in containers or in the ground. Once established (meaning they've had enough time to set a good set of roots, usually one season), they're very hardy and adaptable. Many perennials also are great for cut flowers or herbs. Enjoy!
