History

Wardian cases were named after Nathaniel Ward since he discovered this method of transporting plants during a time of great exploration when plant enthusiasts seeked plants from tropical areas that couldn’t withstand the travel back to where they were going.

This is just a brief slide to showcase what a terrarium is and the difference between sealed terrariums and open terrariums. For this class, we will be focusing on open terrariums for succulents!
