The Aloe is a popular succulent species thanks to its drought tolerance, easy-going nature, and spikey silhouette. This unique variety, the Aloe Christmas Carol, kicks it up a notch with its green and crimson variegation and star shape. Unique yet low-maintenance, it’s an excellent plant pick for a collector or a first-time plant parent with a sunny sill.

Plant Care
  • Thrives in bright light to full sun conditions. Not suited for low light areas. South & West facing windows ideal. Consider grow lights in Fall/Winter.
  • Water every 2-3 weeks allowing soil to dry out completely between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions and less often in lower light. Tolerates normal room humidity or dry conditions.
  • This plant self-propagates by creating offsets, which are side shoots emerging in the soil from the parent plant. These baby plants can be replanted.

Mushy stem, wet potting mix: Overwatered (err on the side of underwatering for a succulent)

Wrinkled succulent, dry potting mix: Thirsty plant, underwatered
