About The Outdoor Hope Garden Collection: Includes four plants that can be planted directly into the ground or into containers. Fall is the perfect time to plant perennials in order to allow them to establish roots before the frosts set in, giving them a head start in the spring! (Just be sure to water often after planting — like, very often!)

Chicago Hardy Fig Tree: Hearty and resilient, this plant thrives in zones 5 to 10, which covers all of the continental United States. It can start bearing fruit one or two seasons after being planted. Reliable, steady, and adaptable.
Bloomerang Lilac Bush: Not your average lilac with a single bloom in early spring! This variety will bloom again later in the season — demonstrating an optimistic resilience.
Eastern Redbud: Native to North America, the Eastern Redbud tree provides visual appeal all year long — providing something to look forward to throughout all four seasons. Fragrant pink blooms begin to appear on bare branches (before the leaves appear) around March, signaling the arrival of longer and warmer days to come. In the fall and winter, the tree’s seedpods and greenish-yellow leaves provide color for us humans and food for local songbirds.
Improved Meyer Lemon Tree: You know the saying: "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" The Improved Meyer Lemon Tree ("improved" in the sense that it's far more disease-resistant than the original) will bear fruit next summer, so you'll be able make lemonade — and all kinds of other treats — ASAP.
