The Ponytail Palm is great for beginners, people who travel, and anyone who's looking for a very low-maintenance but interesting houseplant. Fun fact: Though the "ponytail" part of its name is spot-on, this plant isn't a true palm — it's actually a succulent, hence its preference for dry soil.
